Welcome to the Romblon Yacht & Boat Club (RYBC) website. This not-for-profit yacht club formed
to give the people of Romblon Island an opportunity to experience the thrills of sailing and to provide the community with its’ first yacht club.
Submission to the municipality in regards to the acquisation of reclaimed land to build the yacht club has been successful, and we anticipate construction of the marina will follow shortly, with the aim of the club to be up and operational by the end of 2012. Funding through membership applications and donations has helped to start the construction of several sailing dinghies, that will primarily be used to teach people how to sail, with the aim to obtain a fleet of dinghies that can be used for social racing activities on the weekends.
Progression has come along way since the first original conception of the idea, and through support of its members and local government, we are sure we will be able to offer the community a great, reliable club for all to enjoy.
